Laleh Behjat - Assistant Professor
R. Behjat's research interests lies in the area of Very arge Scale Integrated (VLSI) circuit layout and optimization. The main focus of her research has been the development of fast and efficient algorithms for Computer-Aided design of VLSI circuit layout, performance analysis of circuit interconnect, discrete optimization, combinatorial optimization and structural theory of large scale global optimization.
Dr. Behjat is interested in designing and implementing new models and algorithms for the routing of VLSI circuits. A second research interest is the numerical techniques to improve the accuracy and efficiency of solution procedures of Very Large Scale Optimization problems.
