WORK HISTORY:
May 2003 - to date Ph.D. Candidate University of Calgary
Research focused on Q-enhanced active filters , noise, linearity and frequency response
Devised a new Q-enhancement scheme solely based on on-chip spiral inductors which produces multistage Q-enhanced filters with low passband distortion, low power consumption and high linearity.
September 2000 April 2003
M.Sc. Candidate TR Labs & University of Calgary
Graduated with thesis titled Spiral Inductor Q-Enhancement Techniques
Research focused on transformer based active Q-enhancement schemes of spiral inductors with potential applications to active filters
Designed fully integrated 1.8GHz voltage controlled oscillators including an oscillator with improved resonant tank Q based on a Frlan transformer
Designed and fabricated a fully integrated frequency synthesizer for Bluetooth specification standard
Designed and simulated with realistic conditions low noise amplifiers and Gilbert mixers
May 1996 September 2000
